My country's packaging industry is currently in a healthydevelopment period, so the   demand for paper and cardboard is very large. As animportant packaging material,   cardboard has always played a very importantrole. The development of paper-forest integration project is very important forour country.

There are three types of cardboard commonly used in my country,white cardboard,   container board and corrugated base paper. In the category ofwhite cardboard, coated white cardboard is the highest-grade product, followedby coated white cardboard, and the lowest grade is uncoated   gray-bottomed whitecardboard. More than ten years ago, my country still used this low-grade Mainlywhite cardboard.

Amongdomestic white paperboards, most of them are coated white paperboards. It is worth noting that in China, coated white paperboard is also used as the facepaper of some medium and high-grade corrugated boxes instead of cardboard. Forboxboard, ordinary boxboard and kraft   boxboard each account for nearly 50%. The50% of kraft liner boards are almost all   produced with imported waste paper,and those produced with virgin kraft pulp only   account for a very smallproportion and are difficult to count, and some are only used in   their flourpulp. Then nearly 50% of ordinary container boards are produced with verybackward technical equipment and poor quality raw materials. The market isunder great   pressure on these products and are gradually being eliminated. Incorrugated base paper,   the proportion of high-end products is the lowest amongthe three major categories, and the high-strength corrugated base paper is lessthan 1/3. Here we can see why my country imports a   large amount ofhigh-strength corrugated base paper every year. The root cause of its lowoutput is not that there   is no market for it, but that we do not have the rawmaterials needed to produce it, or cannot obtain such raw materials at acompetitive price.
